Cognitive Behavioural Based Safety

Our Cognitive Behavioural Based Safety (CBBS) program addresses the internal drivers of both safe and unsafe actions by stimulating workers to develop their existing safety beliefs and empowering them to challenge their “unsafe” beliefs.

CBBS is a perfect adjunct to any existing Behavioural Based Safety program as it emphasises and targets the significance of a worker’s action (or lack of action) that may contribute to an undesirable impact or accident.

As a result, participants are more likely to recognise the benefit of behaving safely – without the added stimulus or traditional need for direct supervision – because at an individual level they come to value a change in their own personal values as exhibited in their behaviour.
